Prospective Ph.D. Students: I continue looking for strongly self-motivated students to pursue a Ph.D. for the 2023/24 academic year (starting in Fall 2023). Our CMA thrust will conduct PhD early admission in September. I strongly encourage undergraduate students, especially those who acquire postgraduate recommendations, as well as outstanding graduate students to apply here. In the meantime, send me your CV, transcript, and a paragraph of texts discussing about one of my papers that interests you.
Prospective MPhil Students: Our Red bird MPhil program is fully funded and accepts applicants for the 2023/24 academic year now. Follow the instructions here and apply accordingly. If you are interested in doing research with me, send me your CV, transcript, and a paragraph of texts discussing about one of my papers that interests you.
Tips: I conduct user-centered research (both qualitaitve and quantitative) and build interactive tools/systems/apps. Thus, I welcome students with both technical and non-technical backgrounds to apply to our PhD/MPhil programs.
English is the teaching language, so plan accordingly to take an English test and pass the university requirement.
I may not always reply to your email in time due to a high volume of inquiry emails received, but you can be assured that I'll read it and pay extra attention to your application.
